How do I receive a refund?

Refunds for unwanted, missing or damaged items can be done in-store, by the delivery driver or by contacting customer care.

 

When will I receive my refund?

  • Your financial institution authorized the payment and placed a hold on your account at the time you placed your order
  • This authorization hold temporarily decreases your available funds
  • If your order is canceled, the hold will expire in accordance to the timeframe set by your financial institution, usually within 3-5 business days.

 

For Orders Placed with EBT:

Refunds for unwanted, missing, or damaged items must be done at the store where you picked up your order. Customers need to bring their printed receipt, and their EBT/Credit/Debit card to customer service. According to federal law, Walmart is not allowed to provide refunds in cash or online for EBT-eligible items.
